Oscar and the School Meals catering team hope that you are all enjoying our Autumn / Winter menu and that you all had the chance to have one of our Christmas dinners.
Don’t forget some of our changes in September included dedicated salad carts, more baguettes and wraps, providing Muller Little Stars Fromage Frais, pure breast of chicken nuggets and of course all vegetables are free of charge
We have been busy working hard since September, and some schools celebrated the National Sausage week during November – some very tempting dishes were on offer.
In January, keep your eyes out for our ‘Not as Naughty, Just as Nice’ Fish and Chips dinners. Yes, it is possible to have a healthier fish and chips dinner:-

Fish from sustainable sources and
Free vegetables with every meal
Keep an eye out for the posters around the borough, Oscar hopes you will try one of these delicious ‘Not as Naughty, Just as Nice’ Fish and Chip lunches.
We have more campaigns lined up, to tempt you to try school dinners. These include a Love your Heart, a Wrapped up in Love campaign in February – all about how healthy eating helps a healthy heart.
